David Towsey | Britannica

David Towsey is a Lecturer in English Literature at Hertford College, Oxford University, and he also teaches for the Oxford University Department of Continuing Education. He has previously published on literary theory and Romantic literature, and is currently working on late Victorian and Edwardian writings as part of a larger study of Walter de la Mare's short stories. His work appears in Encyclopaedia Britannica as part of a joint publishing agreement with the publisher of 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die, where the work originally appeared.
